Our Focus Areas
Our three pillars to holistically transform rural communities
Smallholder farmers feed 80% of the world, yet they suffer from poverty and food insecurity
Our three pillars to holistically transform rural communities
We help smallholder farmers to implement sustainable agricultural practices on their farms
Farmers are mobilised to restore and protect their ecosystems using simple and effective solutions
Rural women are empowered to achieve financial independence through entrepreneurship
To increase production for smallholder farmers and better their livelihoods, they don’t need just money. They need a variety of investments including training, improved seeds, machinery, technology, and knowledge.
Our community-tailored programs provide smallholder farmers with innovative and affordable solutions to local challenges. They are inspired to create extra sources of income, and promote sustainable agriculture as a vehicle to reduce extreme poverty in rural communities.
We support rural communities to be resilient and adaptive to climate-related hazards and natural disasters through education, raising awareness and early warning. This will be complemented by undertaking projects that mitigate climate change.
We promote the formation of self-help groups in the communities we serve. Through the groups, smallholder farmers are able to access small loans, financial literacy, business skills, and learn best agricultural practices.
